In Elaris, news rarely arrives in a straight line. It comes with merchants, travelers, warnings, and rumors picked up on roads most people will never walk.

Eventually, much of it reaches the Inn.

A Place to Listen

Travelers come for a strong drink, a warm seat, and a little comfort before the next stretch of road. They stay long enough for stories from different parts of Sol'una to meet in the same room.

Not everyone trusts what they hear. People bring old assumptions about the sunward and moonward lands with them, and the same rumor can sound very different depending on who tells it.

The Innkeeper Remembers

The Innkeeper listens more than she speaks. She remembers names, fragments of conversation, and details other people dismiss.

A rumor laughed off one night may return weeks later from a completely different road.

For now, travelers keep arriving, glasses keep filling, and the Innkeeper keeps listening.
