Our Candles
What makes your candles different?
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using our proprietary coconut, apricot, and beeswax blend. We developed this formula for a smooth appearance, balanced fragrance performance, and a slow, even burn.
Rather than mass-producing our products, we focus on careful craftsmanship, distinctive fragrance compositions, and candles designed to feel like part of a larger world.
What fragrances do you use?
We use premium fragrance oils selected for scent quality, performance, and how well they bring each Fantasy Flameworks setting to life.
Candle Care
Why is the first burn so important?
The first burn establishes your candle's "memory." Allow the wax to melt completely across the surface before extinguishing the flame. This usually takes 2–4 hours and helps ensure an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Why is there wax left on the sides of my candle jar?
This can happen with our coconut, apricot, and beeswax blend and is not necessarily a defect.
During the first several burns, a thin layer of wax may remain along the sides of the vessel. As the candle continues to burn, some of that wax may melt back into the melt pool. Burn conditions such as room temperature, drafts, wick length, and burn duration can all affect how the wax behaves.
Slight variation is normal in a hand-poured candle and does not automatically mean the candle is performing incorrectly.
How long should I burn my candle?
For the best experience, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. This encourages a full melt pool while helping preserve both the fragrance and wick.
Should I trim the wick?
Yes. Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn. This helps produce a steadier flame, reduces excess soot and smoke, and supports more consistent performance.
Why is my flame too high or producing smoke?
A taller flame usually means the wick has become too long. Extinguish the candle, allow it to cool completely, trim the wick to ¼ inch, and relight.
When should I stop burning my candle?
For safety, discontinue burning your candle when approximately ½ inch of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel.
Ingredients
What is your candle wax made from?
Our candles are made with a proprietary blend of coconut wax, apricot wax, and beeswax. The exact formula is proprietary and was developed through extensive testing to balance appearance, fragrance performance, and burn quality.
What materials do you use?
We use our proprietary coconut, apricot, and beeswax blend, premium fragrance oils, carefully selected wicks, and reusable vessels. We prefer to be specific about what goes into our candles, so we focus on the materials we use and how the candles perform.
Why does my candle have slight imperfections?
Because every candle is hand-poured, slight variations in color, texture, or surface appearance can occur. Wax can also respond to changes in temperature and humidity, so small visual differences are part of the handmade process rather than an automatic defect.
Product Information
How strong are your scents?
Our candles are designed to provide a balanced fragrance experience. You'll notice a scent that fills the room without becoming overpowering.
The strength of a candle's fragrance can vary depending on room size, airflow, ceiling height, and the specific fragrance you choose.
How should I store my candle?
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. This helps preserve both the fragrance and appearance.
Can I reuse the candle vessel?
Absolutely. Once your candle has finished burning and cooled completely, remove any remaining wax, wash the vessel with warm soapy water, and give it a second life as a planter, pen holder, makeup brush container, or decorative storage piece.
Returns
Can I return my candle?
We do not accept returns on burned candles or opened products.
If your order is unopened and unburned, contact us within 7 days of delivery to discuss your options. If your order arrives damaged or there is another issue with your purchase, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos so we can help.
